A twelve year old boy, Gil, who plays hockey, gets the opportunity of a lifetime. A prestigious boarding school, Price, is interested in having Gil come play for them. He accepts the scholarship offer, and has to move from his small town in Port Royal, Maine to the "upper crust" in Concord, New Hampshire. Suddenly an outsider far from home and without the watchful eye of his biggest fan, his father, Gil is faced with both new physical and emotional challenges. Then a cheating scandal turns his world upside down. Will Gil be able to score, or even allowed to ever play hockey again?
