Fourteen year old Haley Lloyd, along with her mother, brother, and dog, travel to their cabin home along the East Penobscot Bay in Maine. Up to now the annual family summer vacation has been familiar and fun for Haley, but something has changed. Her parents have divorced and she has not seen her father since Christmas. Times are tough. Haley is shattered, lonely and sad. Then she meets Mr Theo, a lobsterman. Will she remain sad and broken or will this encounter teach her how to bounce back?
